Came off vs Canada tonight in the 90th minute with a hamstring injury. Didn’t look overly serious but could miss the game at the weekend.

I don't think Zaniolo was seriously hurt either but wouldn't like to be without them both at the weekend. Seriously reduces our bench options.

Can't they all retire from their countries, already? Lock them up in Birmingham until they're crap or old.

Hopefully, nothing too serious. I like Leon and it would be good to have him available for the upcoming tough run of games.

Given his injury record, the games coming up, and the form he's been in, this is a worry.

He came on and then went off injured in his last game for us so why did we release him to play an International match given his sicknotedness?

He played pretty much the whole game. There was nothing at all wrong with his movement. It happened at the end of the game. For him and his country this was an important 2nd leg that ultimately saw them qualify for Copa America. When he went off he wasn’t rolling around in pain. So it might be quite minor. But this whole notion of denying players international duty is a bit of non starter because they all want to play for their country.

So we at least know it's not IBS then?

Yes, I'm thinking selfishly in that I couldn't give a flying one about the International games during the season as it invariably has a habit of causing damage to our players.
