We used to have the same issue with Tony Daley. Fantastic at times but inconsistent as hell in many a game - and I loved the bloke.

His right foot is for standing on only but the explosiveness as per the obligatory YouTube clips from Leverkusen seems to have disappeared. Needs to physically get stronger to retain possession better.
What's happened to his shooting? He had those two laughably bad attempts against Liverpool, can't remember any attempts against Spurs, then that atrocious miss last night. We need better from our supporting attacking players.

Not altogether surprising considering he got pretty seriously injured twice last year as a result of that explosiveness (one of the times, incidentally, when tracking back, so I'm not sure it's fair to describe him as lazy, as someone did on here last night i recall). I suspect that he still doesn't fully trust his body to hold up at full throttle. He was poor last night, albeit better in the second half, but he wasn't the only one.
