Seen enough to realise he ain't going to make it in the prem. We tried,it didn't work.
Try and sell while we can.

Lovely assist and nearly smashed crossbar in two. But seeing as we don't play with wingers I don't think we are ever going to see the best of him.

I thought he was bright today. Yes he was on the fringes but so was Buendia for large spells yet our best player revolved around them.

Seems easy to drop him so suspect he'll be on the bench again next week and Ings restored to 11.

Not my cup of tea. Would trade him for Eze or Olise in a heartbeat.

Many of us wanted those two before they went to Palace, same with Bowen.

Eze was mooted as the replacement for Jack. Bad injury but looks the real deal now

We aren't going to get our £ back so stick with him this season. Lacking in confidence. If his shot goes in instead of the crossbar it might have ended differently

Sorry,it's the prem. You need more than a one shot in a game.No presence either.
No time for sympathy.

An assist too though, in fairness.

Yep. Good players can be found in the championship, certainly ones that would improve us. Yet our recruitment is by and large poor.

Look also at how much talent has come over from Portugal in recent years and generally adapted quickly and been good signings. Yet they've all passed us by.

Gerrard isn't the only one we should be questioning.

LOL, by that logic our entire squad would already be platooned to Turkey.

Let’s worry about our actual problems and not a good winger who is being failed by a narrow system.

If that shot that hit the bar had gone in we been lauding him.
He was one of the better players who posed any attacking threat. He was better than Buendia today no?

No.His spatial awareness is shocking. He gave the ball away more than once, and he's knocked off the ball far,far too easily.
Bundesliga yet again showing its it's an inferior product.

This is a good point. We always seem to pay big £ for players who then fail to perform. Ings, Buendia, Bailey, Traore, Coutinho, Digne, Wesley. Conversely we never seem to pay peanuts for players who come good like some other clubs, such as Wolves / West Ham etc
