I was wondering about Bogarde as well. Haven't heard anything about him since he went back to the Netherlands to play for the Dutch youth team along with Swinkels. Swinks came back but I don't know about Bogarde. Dominic Revan has fallen off the radar, too.

Normally means they're injured.

MARK DELANEY “ It’s with a heavy heart that I’m leaving”

Story on AVFC website
Not won enough games this year ?
Weakened squad with the better players loaned out……. Club going in new direction ?
SG quoted several times that he wants to recruit seasoned pros to balance and add average age to first team
Has SG got more backroom team lined up to succeed MD ?

Thoughts ?

A disgraceful and mystifying decision.

By all accounts Dave, Gerrard has one of his friends from the Liverpool youth set lined up for Delaneys role.

I am surprised, I was guessing the replacement would be from a club a lot closer.

Kin ‘ell.  Wasn’t the plan that we didn’t put all our eggs in one basket/manager?

There does seem to be a sense of people looking for something that isn't there regarding Gerrard. Maybe it's the shock of the club actually being a bit ruthless for a change.
