U23s playing Southampton at BMH this afternoon. 5mins in and we're already 1 up with reddin scoring after 2mins.

1-2 down now, we were on top for the first 10 but have been pretty poor since, just no tempo to our play at all. However Brad Young has missed a couple of really good chances so we could easily be level.

They’re mikes better than us but then I suppose they haven’t got their first eleven loaned out all over the plave

2-2 now though, Young following up after their keeper pushed a shot away into his path.

A couple of the Villa youngsters are looking pretty good despite us not playing well as a unit. I really like Feeney in particular.

finished 2-2, Reddin missed a sitter in the 3rd minute of injury time and looked gutted at the final whistle knowing he should've won it. Probably a fair result though, I think the conditions played a big part.

The U18's won 3-2 away at Norwich too. Aaron O'Reilly came on as a sub...I take it that's another set of brothers on the books?
