What was the other hammering we handed out? Norwich 9-0?

I think the u18’s got 10 against Norwich. 10-1 if I remember right.

It's only reserve team football but everything I've seen and heard about chuk senior makes me think he was an absolute steal.

Chuk jnr and JPB are just far too good for reserve team football and I suspect Ramsey will join his brother in the first teamsquad soon as well, this lot could save us an absolute fortune in the next couple of seasons.

I agree, I think the next 2 windows maybe one or two purchases  and maybe a loan here and there, to give the kids some time to grow

Strong side, that.
You say that but Josh Feeney's playing and he only turned 16 in May.
.... and, to state the obvious truism, if you're good enough ...
But - yes - you're right to point out that it was a team of mixed experience: having the Chuks, A Ramsey, JPB and Bogarde in the side gave it a very strong spine.

Reserves beat Arsenal 10-1 back in 2011

Agreed, it was more a 'blimey he must be good to be in that team at CB when he's barely 16' comment than anything else.

As good as a of of these kids obviously are the more pleasing thing is how we are actually introducing them to first team activities and even bench / game time.

With Dean, the coaches and Mark Delaney  we really do have a wonderful football set up today

Is it any wonder all the best young talent wanted to play for us?

Watching the highlights on villatv the thing that really stuck out for me was how good carney chuk and tim iroegbunam look together, both have a similar physique and both have quite a languid style but cover the ground brilliantly and pressure the ball really well ad then in possession they can both carry it out of defence and pick a pass. Ramsey is also a great talent but being the 'spare' in that midfield must be a delight.

Aside from that the chest control from caleb chuk for the 8th was immaculate, to repeat he was a fucking steal for what we paid.

Shaun Wright-Phillips's son in the Stoke team, to make you feel old.

Even older as that makes him Ian Wright's grandson. And he's only 58.

Shaun Wight-Phillips is Ian Wight's step-son I think.

Brad Young scores for Carlisle against Everton U21's in the EFL Trophy.  His first for them I believe.
