As our coefficient places us in the top 20, and above Man United, our Vakue Pillar money should go up a fair whack shouldn't it?
I think so. I'm sure this season's Value Pillar is already set though.

I think it is over 10 years of playing as well for the money rather then the five used for placements. IF we win Europa without losing another match, we would start next season 11th and will be the 4th best English side listed. (The latter is a given even now as Chelsea lose 25 points from their total for next season)

Win it and if Leverkusen and Liverpool fail to qualify for CL, we would be in Pot 1 which would be a nice claim even though it isn't worth anything tactically anymore.

Does it increase the amount you get from the Value Pillar though?
Yes and no.

We’ll definitely get more for the 5yr coefficient part but the other part, admittedly smaller, is still on the 10’year coefficient where we’re still lagging though not quite as much as at the start of the season. If we made £80m from a CL Qtr final run it’s quite easy to see we could make that much from getting knocked out earlier.

Keep up this average of coefficient for next two seasons and if no English teams win the CL, we would be the second best English club and will be in the World Club tournament in three years time.

Payments for reaching the Europa League semi final:

Aston Villa: €28m
Notts Forest: €24.1m
Braga: €25.6m
Freiburg: €25.6m

I moaned about how little we got in relation to others in the Champions League last year, so it would be remiss of me not to do the same here.

How is it fair that some clubs get more than others for the same achievements? The "value" pillar does nothing except support the "bigger" clubs to stay at the top of their domestic league and get into the competitions year on year.

I do wonder whether we would have breached UEFA SCR had prize money been divided equally onboard merit.

Very god point.  Thge growing pains of success where commercial deals are too low and then further compounded by this value pillar, whereas a meritocracy would even it out a bit.

We've got the most money because we won the most matches. 7 wins out of 8 in the glory groups, matched only by Lyon, 4 wins out of 4 in the knockouts so far.

Yep, 2nd in the league with 7 wins against 6-7th with 5 wins and 13th with 4 wins should earn us more money anyway. I believe the value pillar comes into it at the end of the competition.

I think the majority of the value pillar is paid  early in the season with a balance at the end?
