Only issuing a fine to Chelsea is the precursor for the Man City punishment. I expect we’ll see the whole thing will be cleared up quickly now the precedent is set.

The Premier League knows it cannot financially out-muscle C£teh in the courts so some sort accommodation will be found, and this is the precursor which sets a suitable precedent.
