I really hope those numbers aren't correct.
I don’t know if anyone here looks at Capology, but it seems to be an incredibly detailed financial database of all things football.https://capology.com/club/aston-villa/salaries//One thing that stands out for me. We currently pay out £200k per week for Sancho and £65k per week for Elliot and £70k per week for Malen (50%).That’s the equivalent to £1.4 MILLION per month on those 3.Whoever agreed £200k per week for Sancho needs shooting. Is it any wonder wonder we are screwed on CSR ?
Capology is hit and miss to the extreme.
It’s showing real progress, and we will have a hit this year with dropping to the Europa league, but commercial will continue to develop to offset some.Outside of sky six and Newcastle, we are leaving other teams in our wake.Yes there are bumps in the road but the figures suggest to me we are on our way to be a 5-600m Euro club able to compete at the top level.

That figure was the result of us being in the Champions League and having a full house for pretty much every game. How does the club generate that additional £100m - £150m on top of that?
It's worth noting with Newcastle that they flunked their year in the champions league so their rewards from it were tiny compared to us making the Quarter-finals last year.
