Simon Jordan is a massive bell-end.

He is, but he speaks well on PSR and does generally try to not blow smoke up the ass of the 6.

I totally agree on the need for massive stadium extension. That’s the way to bridge the gap. And we need to do it now before someone else comes along and does it. It could be any club. 30 years ago who would have said it would be Chelsea or City?

Could be Blues…

Thing is, ticket prices are set by supply and demand. More seats only pay off if you can charge the same price for them. Could we sell 60,000 at today’s prices? If we have to cut prices to sell extra capacity the investment in the ground is a waste of money.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for it, but we have to create demand as well as supply.

Build it and they will come

It's not the pleb tickets that are the key though. We need thousands more Premium tickets sold to really shift the dial.

What we need is to be able to do it in a natural manner and be able to invest in the team and ground and corporate side as a whole as it comes not have to throw everything at it all in 2/3 years to force revenue up and goodwill down massively to try and be allowed to compete.

I like Simon Jordan.  He hated the porn dwarves and talks a lot of sense.  There I’ve said it.

Hating the chancers and crooks that used to run Small Heath; sometimes talks sense (albeit a low bar in professional football); and still being a bit of div, is all possible.

The interview/conversation he had with the bizarre individual (Bassini was it?) who claimed he was buying that lot was surreal entertainment, though I still think Jordan is a bit too full of himself. UTV

He speaks very well of us as a club and I think he'd be a good bloke for a beer with. I like him and he talks a lot of sense.
