The rules around FFP and SCR needs to include debt. Man U for example have considerable revenues so they can continue to buy at will. However a club as part of financial fair play shouldn’t just be allowed to accumulate mountains of debt. What happens if the Glazers one day call it all in. I’m sure their revenues will cover the interest to the bank, but it’s hardly fair on other better run teams if the rules tied to spending against revenues aren’t in some way also accounting for debt.

PSR is going.
Does a change in PL from PSR to SCR subject to the normal 14 vote thing? If so it will happen when the European Super League cartel decide it works for them not before because the gratitude non competitive lemming clubs like Fulham / West Ham etc will vote exactly as they are told to
I'm pretty bored by it all. Didn't check the Newcastle score until a few hours after the game. Caveat is that I'm driving around Europe, but usually I'd still be locked on to it and fight to find a bar. Completely disengaged this summer too.Think it's the capitalist nature of the game being advertised so unavoidably. Not sure how many fucks I have left to give at this stage. I'd rather watch competitive sport than figures on a spreadsheet projected on to a pitch.Loving the golf and cricket though. Masters was top level drama and England - India great. Looking forward to the Ashes. Don't know who Villa have next.

Premier League are aligning with UEFA's rules. It's SCR is worse for us.In this context, what we’re doing this summer makes perfect sense. We’ll have to abide by those rules soon enough anyway, may as well do it in a way that gets rid of those conditional UEFA restrictions. That would seem to be the optimal approach.
A question. Last accounts wages shot up from £194m to £252m. Is that likely to be (a) because it was 13 months instead of 12 and (b) owing to bonuses for qualifying for the Champions League. Therefor we should see a natural 7% reduction because it's one month less and also a reduction in bonuses as we only qualified for the Europa?
I'm assuming Bizot and Guessand are on similar money to Olsen and JJ.
