I'd imagine it was the physios that made the decision for him to come off.

I wonder how many of these foot injuries could be avoided if players wore proper old school boots rather than the wafer thin slippers they all seem to wear today.

Agreed. Surely they could do something with carbon fibre or graphene (or whatever that wonder material is). Thin layer of kevlar, perhaps?

Really gutted - as I thought he was looking fantastic before he went off - as said above one of his most impressive games for actual helping our build up play

I wonder if they’ve considered incorporating ski boot technology, cut down just for the foot. 🤔

Or clogs technology. (Imagine the halo as a checkered flat cap 😇)

I hope Little Emi returns asap, he’s been brilliant so far this season.

Even when we do get one, there will be no indication of what it is....we seem to be very coy on that stuff.
