On this season alone, I'd like to see him offered another contract.  Was great before he had to go off and has been in cracking form recently.  Hope it's not a bad injury, feel for him if it is.

He’s had some praise for goals and performances this season, but personally, I hadn’t yet felt convinced by his overall contribution to team cohesion (movement, passing), until today when he was really terrific for the 30 mins he was on. So the injury is really doubly bad luck.

I've watched it back and there didn't seem to be any obvious tackle to cause the injury. He just pulled up and sat down in pain and the physios came on. I just hope it's not a metatarsal break like Jacob Ramsey got?

Was absolutely electric until he went off.  What a massive kick in the nuts for him just as he's hit this form.

Thought it was his foot.

Was it an impact injury, I haven’t seen any footage and didn’t see what happened at the game.

Seemed like a knock to the back of his ankle to me.

I'd guess it's a metatarsal based on watching him take off his boot and feel across the top of his foot.

That would be a disaster for him.

Unfortunately looked to be that way. In serious pain at the top of his foot.

Was it after that brilliant turn and run, when he went and won the ball back again?

Guardian this morning says he left VP on crutches. Let's hope it's precautionary but it's not looking good.

Pictures of him leaving VP on crutches in a boot. Such a shame as he was excellent again today. The big change this season is not getting caught in possession or being shrugged off the ball easily.
Apparently the Guardian reported he left VP on crutches.

He kicked himself. Balls of steel that lad.
