He is energetic and you can't fault his attitude. But he can be wasteful in possession, and I thought we were noticeably less cohesive when he came on at the weekend.

Watching it on MOTD2, the tell-tale signs were he had a quick look behind him and he swung an arched elbow.  It was a bad one and I don't know what the VAR official was looking at.
Not a replay of the incident obviously. Imagine that not being given at Anfield or Old Trafford - no, me nether....

Are we witnessing the re birth of Emi?
He’s been super since he got back into the squad.
How many of us wouldn’t have batted an eyelid if he’d gone

Emi has galvanized our season. From being a candidate to be sold to fighting to be a significant part of this squad. Works hard and rarely ever gets the credit he deserves.

A revelation this year, that's two wins now in which he's changed the game from the bench.

Our little Prince comes up trumps again. Similar finish to his goal at Feyenoord, use a defender to disguise the shot and bend it round him into the corner leaving the goalie rooted. Feckin' legend.

He's outlived his fellow-Grealish-replacements Ings and Bailey, who'da thunk it? Delighted for him and his impish ways.

Emi Buendia: "From the start of the season I wanted to show everyone that I wanted to play for this team and for this club and I am glad I do it every game."

Just love him

It's a lovely thing this isn't it, so chuffed for him and more chuffed for the option he gives the team!

I wrote him off, more than happy to be wrong and a proper goal celebration, little jump and fist pump with a serious face. None of this sliding nonsense.
