Yep i didnt think he was that great before the injury tbh. Very inconsistent back then and now he looks even worse
He was on fire pre-season before his injury.

He’s not match sharp, and fair enough. But he didn’t adapt to that reality tonight, and just gave the ball away far too often as a result.

The thing is mate unless we have a big injury list he isnt going to get many starts. This was his opportunity tonight an shw blew it big time. Just like Philogene

It might have been a lack of match sharpness (understandable) but the noticeable thing for me tonight was on the occasions he got past opponents, he got caught back up and dispossessed very quickly.

Which was usually his problem before the injury.

Ship has sailed here, he's not going to play a significant role for us going forward.

Every bit as lightweight as before his injury.
Caught in possession just as much as before his injury.

It’s good to see him recover, but like before his injury, he’s not good enough.

A real shame if it's to be the end. He was our record signing when he joined, wasn't he?!

He joined us two years after promotion, we have progressed a lot since then. I wouldn't write him off yet but he is up against it.

Made a big contribution in the run to seventh, and even under the Scouse Sherwood, he was often a really good sub.

Simply put, he’s not good enough for the level we are at now.

Yeah, as ruthless as it may be, I think we're trying to get him back to full fitness before flogging him in January.

He'll be farmed out to a top half championship team in Jan and leave on a permanent in July. He's a good lad but he needs minutes and he's not replacing Rogers.

I don't see where he fits in now sadly. Like others have said, I think he'll on his way eventually.

I wouldn’t write him off. He’s clearly not up to match fitness. I don’t think he’s going to be a starter but at his best he’d be a useful option off the bench.
