The medical staff will know when he is ready...if he does make the squad before the end of the season, then great.

A bit of a bump, as the latest Youtube video of the last training session before departing for the US includes Emi in the small-sided games. It doesn't look like it's full contact - but he's there playing, kicking and running with the rest of the squad.  I don't imagine it will be much longer before he's available for selection.

Buendia and Ramsey will get gametime in America I think.

Isn’t EmiB the guy hoisting 3 cabin bags on to the plane?
Either he loves his thick cut marmalade/ marmite/insert food of choice or he’s doing a lot of reading!

I think this is a link to the image I saw

Ah, I see. You have to scroll down to the gallery and he’s after Bailey!

Someone told me that Buendia has attended every single villa game home and away since his injury
Maybe not the ones straight after but as soon as he could get out and about

If that’s true, it shows proper commitment to supporting his mates and his genuine love of the game and the club

Probably why his young'un was singing the Ollie Watkins song when he scored for England. Great little clip.

You could understand an injured player not wanting to sit watching the thing he can't do, but I think if it was me I'd want to try to stay a part of the team and the "journey" in whatever way I could.

Emi B is carrying his weekly supply of maté. Good luck not getting stopped at US Border Control. Bailey giving his Yardie look too. No wonder we need such a large squad.

I don't particularly rate Buendia & wouldn't cry if he was sold, but I have to give him respect for that.

Yeah, but did he sit through every 2-hour pre-match analysis?

Seriously though, that's great and I'm sure Emery would have appreciated his dedication.
