Noticed it was Kellyman's run and shot that setup the second for him. If he was being played in the pre-season, I'm surprised he wasn't given any options in the team this season.

But then Philogene wanted to leave for more consistent game time*. Kellyman didn't. Both could have got games with Ramsey and Buendia being out, although Zani was brought in for that area initially. Maybe Emery didn't think he could do it fully, or his injury just came at the wrong time.

I'm pretty sure Kellyman got a bad hamstring after being on the bench a few times in the league earlier in the season? Played pretty well against Hibs, too.  I'm sure he missed a good few months, but is obviously back around the first team again now (didn't he get a run out late against Man City?).  But I don't expect to see any inexperienced youngsters in our last 5/6 games unless it's absolutely forced upon us by injuries, or games are totally dead rubbers.

Yeah, Kellyman missed a fair chunk of the season with an injury.

I do think that Emery likes & trusts him though. He has used him for the bench quite a bit this season when fit.

It's been difficult to get young players games recently, as every point counts, but I do think that Kellyman has a future under Emery.
