He'll be useful as a starter against teams that park the bus, but in games where we're not going to dominate possession he's a waste of a shirt.

I wouldn't start him at Wolves next week. He'll spend most of the game on the floor demanding free kicks which he won't get.

He's been poor too often recently to warrant a place in the team.

He still managed to set up our best chance of the game today, if Watkins hadn't slipped it was a certain goal. The refs never give him anything this season, I know there's been a rule change to allow a more physical game but at times they really take the piss. What is unforgivable though is the poor passing especially when he's got time and bloody space.

Oh and take a bloody shot when you have the time and bloody space. I still rate him though.

I think he’s very important and does a lot of good, especially when it comes to creating space. What he needs to do is learn how to keep his cool better. When he starts to lose it he overplays to compensate and makes more errors/poor decisions.

Newcastle signing James Maddison so we need to respond in kind to that.

Buendia has I think done well since the turn of the year but he has his limits. Couldn't get over him having two shooting opportunities right on edge of box in second half and he spurned the chance on each occasion, second one he passed to Ramsey who was already tightly marked and chance was gone.

Probably next week v Wolves he'll be shooting from every angle possible.

Think opposition have realised if you get tight to him and Ramsey they'll lose the ball fairly regularly and there won't be much good service through to Ollie so we simply need more reliable options in final third next season and yes that will cost a serious amount of our budget but we simply have to do it to have another serious go at top 6.

Maddison has released a video of a ‘gender reveal party’ for his unborn kid. Newcastle are welcome to him.

Is this widely accepted? Or just super obvious because Newcastle have loadsamoney and are going to sign Ward-prowse Kane and Mount too?

Sometimes we as fans tend to be a bit all or nothing, a bit 'world class' or 'bobbins' about players. Buendia's neither - it just exposes our squad that we can't replace him right now when he's having a bad one.

Yep, it's a bit frustrating as Coutinho is the obvious replacement.

56% pass completion yesterday, which is pretty dismal all things considered.

Buendia has been firmly in the bobbins camp lately. Not good enough for our club record signing. Options are limited but I'd prefer to see Traore given minutes in that somewhat 10 role. He's a liability defensively on the right when he comes in.

'Firmly in the bobbins camp' when he was key in taking apart the best defence in the league a fortnight ago?

Ok, been poor last three games. Thought he was very poor against Forest too. One good display in five isn't really good enough. I like Buendia but he is being played in his best position consistently and not delivering enough for me..

I think he had one good half against Fulham, and Forest was his first proper poor game in ages. Like I say, I don't think he's absolutely world class or anything, but he's got plenty to contribute to a top-half squad.

He's our top player for 'Chances created' and second top scorer. He's frustrating as fuck sometimes but he's a good player.
