When he's good he's good when he's bad he's bad. He had an alltime shocker on Saturday but I maintain, as with everyone in the squad, that an amnesty would be fair, given we finally have an actual coach coming in. Let's see how he's done by the end of the season.

I really like Buendia's desire and attitude, but there does appear to be certain types of games that he's just not suited to, particularly given the team around him currently. I'd be happier with him starting at home against less physical sides, then let us see how Unai's influence could help him.

I think we over paid for him. I dont think he has been that great in all honesty.

Top players can consistently perform not 1 in evey 4 or 5 like buendia does

Thought Emi 2 did very well against Brentford, despite them being a physical side. He kept and used the ball well.

Just saw this interesting montage of some of Emi’s creativity that we’ve wasted. I know he has things to work on and can be sloppy in possession but he’s also got immense talent

Impressive.

I feel he is like Grealish (Coutinho is even worse) where the whole team needs to be built around him.  Gerrard never got that balance right but Emery’s 442 could do that.  Rather than two luxury players we now have Ramsey (McGinn/Sandon) who can play both 8 and 10 when needed.

Reminds me a bit of the Wenger formation were he’d have Overmas/Pires playing with the hand-break off and Parlour/Lundberg on the other side tucking in when necessary.  Kamara/Luiz/Dendonker being the bouncers a la Petit/Viera.

He's an extremely talented player.

Yes, he gets knocked off the ball too easily, but I am pretty sure we can find a way of playing that gives him more protection.

He’s a fantastic player, love his vision and the way his passes cut through the defence.

Every goal he celebrated like it was one of us on the pitch

Buendia is probably the only player we have who lifts the tempo with his passing and can find that perfectly weighted through ball. I'm excited to see how Emery utilises him.

I like him a lot. Even when off balance his passes are good. The one on Sunday to get Ollie off and running for the 3rd goal was played with precision and weight when his feet appeared to be behind his body weight and the ball tucked underneath him. He had no right to play such a pass but did so perfectly
