Coutinho looked to be limping as he walked off, so I would think Buendia is a nailed on starter against Palace.
A somewhat "convenient limp" would that be?

What a luxury to have - two superb players who should be starting together with Bailey also alongside them. Pace, trickery, guile. I'm sure it'll eventually click and someone will get an utter hiding.

I hope so anyway

He deserves to start today against Palace, but I hope he doesn't try too hard and end up frustrated, affecting his quality game and football flair. Buenda can be brilliant, with excellent football skills and a high work rate, but he can also be ineffective and sloppy in possession.
Definitely, when he's on form, he can lift and be the team's creative source and of course he can score goals.
He's in form so we can expect quality surely ?

Not in a team that has no idea what it's doing, I guess.

Only player that looked up for it first half. Don’t know what happened second half

A player whose pedigree rises significantly when he doesn’t make the starting eleven.

He's got it and is a talent but like so many of out team they look lost and confused and all this business where they get a run in the team for one or two matches at a time can't help. We're a mess and it's got completely out of control.

I really rate him but he was dreadful tonight. Kept giving the ball away.

Awful. Looked like somebody from the U16s.

A complete waste of £38 million. Rather we had Gil back than this lightweight guy with no pace.

Relegated every season with Norwich, relegated with ....

Do you, you normally give him minimum points every game? One of those things I find strange as often in the past I'd nod agreeing with every word you posted. Where did it all go wrong, Bronte?

Thought he was excellent in the match versus Brentford.
Real quality at number 10.

I love him.  He's by some distance my favourite player (sounds a bit odd from a middle aged man but there you go) and really hope Emery can get the best out of him.
