Cream always rises to the top.
He’s found his feet and is beginning to show why he’s a £30m+ player.
Next step, to break into the Argentina team

Starting to look the part after a slow start to his Villa career. I wonder how much of it is down to some of the other players starting to get on his wavelength and read him a bit better than before.

Well Dean said it been difficult because injury and covid.
As well as settling in period.
I think it was a brilliant signing he's fantastic quality.
Disappointed he's got some tepid Grealish style shooting power going on at the moment when he can hit alot cleaner and harder.
He may not be most robust but was clearly enjoying himself today as he's getting fitter though gets injured hoping nothing too long term looked in pain

His good is getting better by the game, but still gave the ball away too often today.  If he can cut that out, then he could be quality.

Based on today, if he cut that out he'd be a £150m player.

MOTM today by a country mile. Lost the ball twice but he plays football on the edge and sometimes it doesn’t come off. He was strong, tackles and distributed the ball really well.

I thought he was brilliant today.
I can't say I've been impressed so far but he's improving and becoming a great addition.

Emi Buendia is further evidence that we shouldn’t jump all over a new player if they don’t perform to their full potential immediately. And I don’t think we’ve seen the best of him yet.

Yup, especially this type of player.

Motm performance today from EB! Ran the midfield. Linked up well with the overlapping Digne.
Fitness has improved also and looks abe to last the whole 90+ mins. Unlucky with his header 1st half. He gets into some good positions at set pieces and looks dangerous with his flick headers.

Undroppable. He was immense tonight.
Been slowly improving in form over last few games, and was easily my MOTM.
Lovely little knocks to teammates, and spins out of trouble on a six pence. But on the other side of that, not afraid to mix it and get stuck in.
Well played Emi 💪🏼

Outstanding today, finally seems to be clicking for him and with Coutinho coming in too we might see some tasty football for the rest of the season.
