Very harsh that his goal was taken off him when deflected shots which totally make a goal happen from a shit shot are never taken away from the shooter.

Maybe Konsa can appeal on his behalf, he should be happy with the second goal.

He’s growing into the side now. Still needs to be stronger on the ball, but you can see his confidence growing.

He did some lovely things yesterday but spoils it by giving the ball away.  Hopefully, like Stan Petrov, it takes a season to grown into it and then he's brilliant. He works hard, which is a big plus.

I like him.  Hasn't shone yet, granted, but there are more consistent flashes of the ability he has.  I think he's probably guilty of trying too hard and not playing his natural game.  He'll come good.

It would have hit the post without the touch from Konsa.

There was one point where we broke yesterday and he basically took four Leicester players out of the game.  But then that sort of brilliance is outweighed at the moment by the amount of times he's either caught on the ball or bullied off it.

I'm not sure if it's a lack of strength conditioning or if he's still getting used to the pace of the Prem but if he could sort that side of his game out he'd be one hell of a player.

Thought it was Buendia's best game so far for Villa yesterday.

Much improved yesterday and deserved to get the Goal. Hopefully it's the start of a run of better performances after a torrid start to the season

Not sure. Even the slow-mo replay didn't show much in the way of deviation.

He can do some great things, and he's got amazingly quick feet. But he's so slow when running with the ball, covering midfielders or defenders get back without having to break into anything more than a jog. And his passing is slightly better than Luiz's at the moment, but still isn't very good.

Coutinho is the role model for a diminutive offensive midfielder.
Buendia does not seem to have that ability to get away from contact with the opposition.

Has he calmed down on the eye-rolling and gesturing to the bench about how hard life is for him on the pitch cos teammates aren't doing what he wants?
Hate seeing that shit.

He seemed to have a minor paddy after being taken off again. One of the coaches held out a tracksuit top for him as he walked towards the bench, and he sort of turned his back and ignored him completely.

Buendia does not seem to have that ability to get away from contact with the opposition.

It seems to be his modus operandi due to his lack of pace. He deliberately draws contact, but then can’t withstand the pressure and gets dispossessed.

This approach should be easy enough to fix through some good coaching.
