I thought he was going to cry after he scored.

I thought he was good today, bearing in mind he was playing next to Ashley Young, who whatever he is these days, certainly isn't a central midfielder. And Ings doesn't do an awful lt of running around either.

He’s looking more like a John McGinn than a Joe

I loved the fact he obviously didn't want to score in the penalty area so instead took the ball outside the box before smashing it in the back of the net. The big show-off.

I think once Watkins comes into the team we'll see Buendia shine so much. Because of Watkins energy and pressing as well as wide channel movements

I know he needs time to settle in and is showing bits and pieces of quality but I think I expected more from him.  Early days though and I hope our money is well spent.

This in turn giving Ings and others opportunities.
McGinn and the midfield too.
Exciting.

Yep, once we’re back to full strength, we’re going to be just fine. Ollie made two saves in the cameo he played. Add a bit of Traore and Bailey and we’re going to be fun.

I’ve saw enough encouraging signs yesterday to think when we are back to full strength and attacking at pace, we’ll be really fun team to watch.

Worth pointing out he also won the ball back 9 times, which is pretty great.

Exactly, but why bother with the positive side of things when people can look at the negatives 😉

Probably good to look at all of them, to be fair!

Its early days so far but im not sure on the price tag. He looks ok but i think 35m was a hefty price tag
