Put him on the wing where he belongs, sign a player to play in Barkley's position.

This. He's a right winger who likes to cut in. Fucking play him there.

Baileys playing on the right

Funny that what with him being a left winger. And yes, I'm aware he can also play in the middle and on the right.
Square pegs, round holes strikes again.

How is bailey a left winger? He even said in his interview right wing is his best position. He might be able to play left but rights where he plays

That's news to me but that being the case, why the fuck have we just spent a fortune on two right wingers?

Bailey plays either with perfect comfort, and Buendìa is only ever nominally in any given position, very much a 'move across the lines' player.

I didn’t see much of Buendia last season but in the previous two I did and he seemed to drift across both sides. I don’t think he has enough pace to be an out and out right winger.

Should be starting him from the right for now though because he clearly wanted more time than he was given as a 10 today.

Honestly, I thought if Ollie wasn't fit he'd go with Ramsey in a midfield 3 with Emi and Traoré wide to give us more solidity through the middle.

Plus he's very rarely ever played as a 10.

He was played out of position which first help. Usually on the right

I was hoping he was going to be good enough to play as a number 10 because he’s not fast enough to play on the wing
Same as when Grealish was called a winger, he was never a winger in my book he might of cut in from the left but that doesn’t make a winger

I asked on the match thread what position Buendía plays in
I still don’t know

He wasn’t very good today but I’m sure he’ll get better

A winger who cuts in can be a winger. Buendia has shown plenty playing that role.

Not for me they’re not but I’m probably being too old-fashioned

Played out of position, what was Smith thinking.

I've no idea where Buendia lined up for Norwich, but from the highlights video, he seemed to spend an awful lot of time in central areas, either setting others up or scoring himself. Not much seemed to be him in wide right positions.
