cheer up Sid this isn't bad news - that's talking to a close friend on Sunday and discovering he'd died a day later, as I did this week.

Sorry for your loss Mr Underhill condolences to you and your friends family.

I hope it’s a 5 year deal not a 4 year.

Reports say it's 'til 2026.

He isn't in the squad tonight, so should be no unexpected delay in getting that medical done.

Martinez starts in goal, again.

In answer to the previous poster, it's on Premier Sports 1, a subscription channel which shows a few Scottish Premiership games and rugby matches. You can also watch for free if you have a recently used and/or currently funded Bet365 account, via their app.

Sincere condolences Mr Underhill.

As for our Spice Boy, Emi B, great to read that he had his mind made up that Villa was the only club he was interested in joining; Norwich knew it, Arsenal were told it and once we'd made an acceptable offer Norwich closed the door to any other offers. I'm guessing Martinez was on the phone a few months back telling him he was our Number 1 target, etc.

You have to love the delusion.

I do prefer it to the "this club is finished Robbie" shouty nonsense on YouTube.

Arsenal have no European football next season and players like Smith-Rowe, Saka, Martinelli, Willock (back from Newcastle), Pepe, Aubemeyang and Lacazette to form a front six. Sign a solid central midfielder to play next to Partey and I think they'll have a decent season.

I enjoyed laughing at them because we got the player and they didn't, but I think the obituaries in some quarters are being written way too soon. They ended the season with five straight wins.

Not only beaten to the best player in the championship they also seem to forget we took 6 points out of 6 against them this year including wiping the floor with them at the Emirates in an almost complete away performance

Deluded indeed
