Look at how much work Buendia does defensively. It will help Matty Cash tremendously who also likes to pop forward into attack on occasion knowing he has cover. Oh and some bloke called Konsa is on that side too…

Going back to this, my mate told me yesterday to look at the colours on the table.

They knew alright.

Could have been off to Barcelona (if they could afford him). ;)

I hadn’t previously seen this video montage of him but it’s really excellent. Superb two footed player who works hard wherever he is on the pitch.

Buendia and Grealish Heatmaps.....

*edit as got them the wrong way round.

First one is a bloke sat in a chair with his feet up watching TV, either shaking his fist or...ahem....enjoying himself

Second one is is someone giving the thumbs down whilst simultaneously punching a floating loaf of bread

That picture always reminds me of the father ted sketch.  Had no idea he was a borderline Alan Wright.

My God, just about every thread on that Norwich forum is about this transfer. It's like we've unpedestrianised the city centre.

I imagine a lot of the posters are kids as there is clearly a lack of knowledge on our size and history.  I suppose to be fair we have been a sit sleeping giant for 10 years now and there will be a generation that just doesn’t know that we have always competed with the big 6, just not lately

Hang on a minute. Half of the "Big 6" don't get close to us on points gained in the top flight of English football, so for most of our history we've completed at a level above them.

What Norwich fans don't realise is those three seasons in the Championship, two of which resulted in a play off final and one of those in promotion, represents one of the worst periods in our entire history.

Any one of those seasons would've been a good season by Norwich's standards!

I have no idea who Buendia is. Why was he playing for the Canaries?  Is he any good?

I asked the same question last week. I then saw a YouTube video of him looking all silky and I converted instantly to his cause. It was a good day.

Same here. What I liked as well as his obvious skills was his tenacity and determination.

I'm not sure it was meant as a Rorschach test but psychologists would have a field day.

We're above them in the established order of things and I'm sure a lot of them recognise that but we can hardly expect them to be happy about it.

They were also demonstrably a better team than us as recently as 18/19 so I can understand a certain rueful bitterness from them. Not that I particularly care about the carrot crunching yokels.
