Well Villa have sort off announced it

Aston Villa and Norwich City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Emiliano Buendia.

As Emiliano is currently in the Argentina national team’s biosecure bubble, preparing for a World Cup qualifying match with Colombia on Tuesday evening, he will undergo a medical and complete the transfer after the game.

Excellent

It's not excellent he's still to pass a medical, it's excellent, when he passes the medical and signs the dotted line, until that happens let's not get too excited.

I have no idea who Buendia is. Why was he playing for the Canaries?  Is he any good?

I asked the same question last week. I then saw a YouTube video of him looking all silky and I converted instantly to his cause. It was a good day.

Last season's stats.....

3rd - Combined goals & assists
4th - Shots per game
1st - Big chances created
1st - Key passes per game
6th - Successful dribbles per game
4th - Penalties won
1st - Through balls per game
7th - Tackles per game

That last stat is the most telling. A creative player who isn't afraid to get stuck in. You can see him, Watkins and McGinn just harassing the opposition high up the pitch, and winning those challenges. There's a high press and a high press.....

Even if you didn't watch the Championship last season, can't you remember him in our promotion season and in the PL with Norwich?  He's an excellent player and with him and Jack teams aren't going to know what to do.  They'll certainly have to think twice before doubling up on Jack now.

Looking forward to the Sky stats showing 80% of the action in the opposition third of the pitch! Martinez is going to need a picnic blanket and a thermos.
