Yannick Bolasie has been released by Everton - worth a punt?(I am joking!!!)
This morning we've announced the U23/Youth players who have been retained/released:Aston Villa can confirm the retained and released list for the club’s Academy.Nine players have been retained for the 2021/22 campaign - Mungo Bridge, Hayden Lindley, Filip Marschall, Akos Onodi, Arjan Raikhy, DJ Sturridge, Mamadou Sylla, Tyreik Wright and Brad Young. Every member of the club’s FA Youth Cup-winning team, who recorded a memorable 2-1 triumph over Liverpool last month to secure success in the prestigious competition, have been retained.Patrick Zito, meanwhile, is being offered a short-term contract.Nine players have not been offered new contracts - Lewis Brunt, Brad Burton, Jack Clarke, Charlie Farr, Ben Guy, Callum Rowe, Harrison Sohna, Michael Tait and Jake Walker. All other players in Villa’s Academy are still under contract for next season.Aston Villa would like to thank each of the players who are departing for their valuable contributions during their time at the club and wish them all the very best for the future.A few hopes and dreams dashed, it's a cruel world. For every Jack Grealish there are half a dozen who don't make it
They only named the retentions - are there any players of note who are being released?

I'm slightly upset about Jack Clarke,

I'm slightly upset about Jack Clarke, I thought he looked like a great young player about 4-5 years ago but he never pushed on from that. I think he's one hat needed to be loaned out much earlier than he was to give him an idea of how tough it was going to be.
