They seem to have just turned the phones off altogether now.

Have Villa outsourced the ticket office to HMRC? That's their tactic

We have 3 season tickets, one of which has always been shared between my daughter and my nephew.

However it's in his name, and now you have to load a photo etc. Is the photo check going to be significant next season? It certainly was not checked when I went to the Chelsea game despite all the emphasis from the club which was also confirmed when I rang the ticket office.

There must be lots of fans in a similar boat who share tickets, whether for financial or personal reasons. We are all getting new season ticket cards for next season but I guess they won't have the photo on them, so is this going to be relevant? Any information would be much appreciated.

I know at Liverpool, season ticket holders can assign up to 20 other registered fans to their ticket for games which is great customer service.

I don’t think they will be using the photos, unless Covid rules require it. Who knows? we may have to have virus passports to attend.

Same as you  rougegeorge. I have two juniors and I share  those amongst youngsters in the family and this has helped in generating  their loyalty to the Villa.
I don't think under 14s require photo and current technology at our turnstiles can not do photocheck.

I'd be amazed if you can't carry on exactly as you are.

I’ve had two different people at the ticket office confirm to me that definitely won’t be the case.

I didn’t receive an e-mail reference renewal notification, just followed the renewal procedure via the website.

I noticed when I logged in on the official site, there was a link to that renewal email, so might be worth having a look there.

I also noticed it had tickets for the Chelsea game on my history, but I had absolutely no contact from the club regarding being successful in the ballot.

Wednesday, so Friday was either day two or day three, depending on how you look at it

If I wasn’t a member of this forum, I wouldn’t even have known that the renewal window was open.

I’ve gone through the re-registration process for the new system, so I’m ready to renew once the TO reply to my query.
