During commentary when we were 2-0 up, the commentator said ‘Aston Villa making a real contest of this’. In what world is that something you say about a team leading 2-0?

We watched it on the iPad at The Barton’s. Without tickets we decided to do pre & post match as usual without the bit where we go to the game. It was fun.

Tuchel came over as very bitter in his interview, a perfect fit for Chelski.

Now he/Chelsea are complaining that they were delayed entering the stadium by stewards eating ice creams with flakes and raspberry sauce.

🤣🤣

It's so obvious that for all their outrage about the ESL most of the media don't actually care about any club outside of their beloved 6. Hypocritical fucknuts.

If I was manager I'd have a 'Wall of disrespect' in the changing room where all these patronising comments and put downs get pinned. Create an 'us against the world' mentality to drive us on. The only problem is it would take up too much space, and it would be a full time job for someone to keep up with it all.

A featured section would be 'Lawro's prediction' which would usually be a defeat.

Lawrenson had us finishing sixteenth with one fewer point than last season. Bellend.

Anyone know if there are any videos of the players appreciating the crowd after the game about?

The irony for me yesterday was that Bert scored one and made the other and looked pretty poor inbetween. i was also struck by how isolated watkins was - so much distance between him and the midfield and that's where we have to strenthen imo. last but not least it was fucking cold!

I don't think Jack had an especially good game by his standards. Only to be expected though after so long out. And yes Traore was his usual self. Great goal, some nice bits of skill but no tackling back and forever losing the ball in possession. He absolutely refuses to even attempt to head the ball as well.

On this we part ways, Mr. R! His leap is a thing of sublime beauty. If he doesn't go for a header then I can only assume that he feels that it wouldn't be appropriate aesthetically.
