Our defence is fucking immense.

We will start next season with the best GK, in my opinion the best LB and one of the best CB partnerships in Europe. Matty Cash will continue to improve with Freddie pushing him. Really promising

you think Freddie will come back

I do. He needed playing time so he went on loan. But Freddie has said it himself and Dean I believe hasn’t suggested selling him. Elmo was a more flexible option to have around this season. With him gone Freddie and Cash is a solid one two. We now need another very good LB

Spoke to Purslow briefly and he says it’s going to be an exciting summer. Sawiris was at the game with his family and he went absolutely mental at all the goals. We’re in the very best hands.

Great to hear that.

The noise from the tv feed was great.

Certainly felt like the players responded.

Brilliant

I thought we were excellent all over the pitch today. I’d agree with Marv being MOM but McGinn too was great as was the whole defence. Targett is my man of season, outstanding through. With three top quality signings we will be genuine contenders for top 6 next season

Great to be back at VP this afternoon! Cracking atmosphere, and well organised so credit to the club for that. Fantastic result. Well done lads. Now for the Cup tomorrow!

Is it just me or was Grealish a bit over-dramatic with the incident at the end?

I thought that but it was still hard enough to be a definite red. I also thought our penalty was a little on the soft side on second viewing.

I thought the pen was soft but Jorginho didnt put up much resistance when it was given.

Got a selfie with Louie Barry in Witton Lane after the game.  Rounded off a perfect day.

I thought we were great all over the pitch. Bit like the Spuds game, we didn't start great but grew into it. McGinn and Marvelous were very good.

I hope all those who are there had a great day. It looked brilliant.

First 20 mins I thought we were in for a pasting, but McGinn literally dragged us into that game with some crunching tackles and Chelsea did not like it one bit. I thought at 2-0, there was 10 minutes where they lost heart and composure and we could of finished them off, but took our foot of the gas a bit. But great performance. And as Smith said we always finish strongly under him, great to have some belief and momentum for next season.

Nakamba MoM but no one under an 8 for me.

2 or 3 additions and keep Grealish and some special times could be ahead.

Oh and Tuchel was really ungracious in defeat.

As he was after the FA Cup Final, for which he couldn’t even be bothered to wear a suit. He’s a bellend. Got a mate who supports West Ham who described him as being like ‘a Lord of The Rings battle scene extra. Ha ha, spot on, he does move jerkily on the touchline like he’s a Tolkien special effect. All that said, he does add something to the Prem, even if it’s just in a pantomime villain way.

Jack's reaction was cringeworthy and I wish the league would do something about play acting but until they do we need to be streetwise and make shithousing part and parcel of our game.
As I said earlier this season, you can take a stand and watch from the moral high ground while everyone else climbs the table and wins the trophies.

It was both of you!
