A very positive position to be in. A huge improvement on last season yet plenty of room to get better still. It feels like there is a plan and we are a club players will want to join. Well done all.

And what a fucking keeper. I know it's all been said but fucking hell, even with the ball over the line he was determined to stop it hitting the net.

He's ridiculously good.

Absolutely. The amount of games he's kept us in is frightening not to mention the points. We are blessed. I still can't decide between him and Targett for Player of the Season.

I'd have Konsa and Watkins in the mix too.

Clear top 5 for me this season - Targett, Emi, Konsa, Watkins, Grealish. Agree it's out of Targett and Emi for player if the year. We miss Mings when he's not there too.

A special mention for Hause.
Sat on the sidelines most of the season and yet his inclusion into central defence has been absolutely seamless.

He’s been superb. Only outjumped once (by Benteke, who does that to a lot of defenders) , an absolute rock.

The commentator kept going on about how many chances Chelsea missed but other than the Martinez save from Chillwell I cant think of any.

What a great reaction from Emi after he saved that and turned to the crowd celebrating.

Great result. Beating an in form Chelski with something to play for. Must help in the search for quality players in the summer. Well played lads, well played Dean and the coaching staff. Utv!

Great game. Solid performance. Quite emotional watching the players and fans applaud each other at the end.

A very good season.

Can’t wait for next season. And it’s not too often over the past decade we’ve been able to say that.

4-5 more good players and we’ve got a top half squad.

First 20 mins I thought we were in for a pasting, but McGinn literally dragged us into that game with some crunching tackles and Chelsea did not like it one bit. I thought at 2-0, there was 10 minutes where they lost heart and composure and we could of finished them off, but took our foot of the gas a bit. But great performance. And as Smith said we always finish strongly under him, great to have some belief and momentum for next season.

Nakamba MoM but no one under an 8 for me.

2 or 3 additions and keep Grealish and some special times could be ahead.

Oh and Tuchel was really ungracious in defeat.

Mount skied a sitter in the first half.

A very good season indeed but it could have been even better if we have to take the claret and blue glasses off.
But -
20pts improvement
16 league wins. Even O Neill managed as many as 17 in his four seasons. The difference is his teams could grind out draws a bit better i think.
Six places better off.
Ten points above Wolves - it seems important to them so mind the gap.
We have taken some big scalps- the teams you would want 5i beat although as usual we couldn't even get a point off Man Ure and I really thought this was the year we'd do it.

The future looks v bright.
