Kovacic should be on a yellow aswell.

Should've been since about the 3rd minute, the challenge on McGinn was easily the worst foul in the half but the ref completely missed it.

Get in!  And this has been our crap half!

Chelsea getting a bit rattled now...Tuchel will have the teacups lined up for the half time team talk ready to throw around!

Tuchel has a definite "round up all the villagers and shoot them" 1940s look about him

I've just laughed like a drain at this.

I have only just realised Tuchel looks very much like my comprehensive school games teacher.

Chelsea lashing out as things aren't going their way.

Wankers every one of them.

how ever much Bertie gets slagged off by Villa fans . First season of goals and some wonderful goals in there  and assists , I think next season we are going to see a player , well happy with him.

We grew into that after basically just giving them the ball for first 20 minutes.

Just checkec back to last season's fixture and Hause scored in 43rd minute to put us 1 up but game turned when they put on some quality subs on the hour mark, we did nothing and they scored twice in five minutes.

Tuchel will do the same so really hope DS just dosen't expect us to hold out playing as we are, Luiz is an obvious sub early second half.

Lovely run from Bert for the goal, nice to see a move off the training pitch work in a match.

I can see one of them getting a red if they don't equalise in the first 20 mins of the second half.  Jorginho being on a yellow will be interesting, especially if we can keep a high-press going in the second half.

Chris Wilder reports for the BBC:

"Well worked free-kick, came round the back and pulled it to the edge of the box, Matt Targett bounced it into the ground and it's gone right in the top corner!"

Apart from the fact that it was a corner, and it was a different player, those are some top observational skills there.

Will be one of those instances where he gets booked in 89th minute for time wasting or something and you wonder how he hasn't had a yellow at any point before.

Both of their CMs on yellow also means none of them can touch SJM when he starts motoring through them.

I fancy our chances at holding out and at least not losing this one compared to last year when it was generally accepted we'd lose even if 1 up with about ten minutes left v these type of team. The backline is working nicely again, Ez is brilliant on a one v one situation.

This. Watch it get worse the more desperate they get.

May only get another 25 out of Jack.  We look good when interested and really ordinary at other times.  Next season will be great.

Luiz? No thanks.

No one else is more certain to commit stupid fouls in dangerous areas than him. If he does end up coming on first I'll be doing is betting on him getting booked.

We are clearly almost a really good team.

Right players in this summer and we can properly kick on.
