Yes, he was appointed as a club ambassador recently. There's an interview with him on Pravda from this week where he talks about enjoying media work and having other offers but coming back to Villa was what he wanted to do.

They need to get him in as crossing coach.

Always prefer blue shorts as the change when we'd wear claret shirts away from home, particularly 1995-98 Reebok era. We even wore blue shorts at Wembley as the white obviously cladhed with Leeds. In recent years it does seem we've swerved towards claret more.

I must say the away top is nicer in person. The stripes are subtler than they look in the official pics.

Both the home and away kits look nicer on the players than in the initial photos. The away shirt looks very smart with the claret shorts and socks. Big fan of the shorts in particular, nice shade of claret, the Castore symbol suits them and like the thin light blue horizontal strip. May well invest in a pair.

I thought they looked great today. I am still having a hard time choosing a kit, might wait for the third to drop.

The claret shorts aren't on sale? So they must be the change shorts, yet they wear them on publicity shots and in the first game the away kit is worn.

Which was an odd choice, as Man U were wearing dark shorts, so if we'd had light blue shorts it would have been less of a clash than the darker claret ones.

Both teams avoided a clash and changed from dark shirts to light shirts and light shorts to dark shorts.

There’s a size chart here:

https://shop.avfc.co.uk/en/aston-villa-away-shirt-2022-23/p-1214697993084528+z-946-2260558736?_ref=p-SFLP:m-GRID:i-r0c1:po-1

My medium is same fit as the medium Kappa.
