In recent years the club have updated on season ticket sales etc. Perhaps they just feel they don't need to anymore but it has gone VERY quiet , has anybody who is on the 'waiting list' not been contacted yet? I know of two people who have been offered the opportunity to buy seats and they only joined last season?

I'm very suspicious about the waiting list and when I hear people being offered them when only joining last year my suspicion seems valid.

When were they offered?  We have been on the list for two season tickets for two years now and haven't been offered one yet.

I joined the waiting list last summer and was offered one within about three weeks. Granted, it was the Trinity upper, which I think is the highest pricing point, but it seemed relatively easy?
I had joined the membership option a week or two before ( about £30), so I don't know if that made a difference ?

I thought it didn't matter where you favoured stand was, the offer is meant to be made in order of joing the list.  To get an offer within 3 weeks is really odd when there was supposedly 20k plus on the list.

Surely it doesn't matter what stand is your preference - was that even asked when joining the list?

I think they do ask, but I'm sure villa support on twitter confirmed it didn't make any difference as to when you're offered a ticket.  A few weeks wait last summer sounds like there was a cock up somewhere along the line.

Pat , if you still want one I would question that. Seems very strange.worth contacting them

As said above from what I've heard anyone who joined last year were offered one

I suspect the club made out only Trinity were available as they're the most expensive even though we all know there's thousands elsewhere

Well I joined last year and haven't been offered. As I suspect is the case for the vast majority.

I'd imagine people wanting a single ticket and happy anywhere will get offered a ticket before those who need two or more together, or who need to be located next to existing season ticket holders and family members.

It's never going to be a first-come-first-served take-up as everyone has different needs.

No it doesn't work like that.  You are given a window to buy a ticket, you then go on the website, see whats available and buy it.  You can choose any available seat in the ground.

I said ‘take-up’, as in people earlier in the queue who want certain seats or want to go with someone who hasn’t been offered a ticket may decline to take up the option and the offer moves down the chain.

So say I had a kid who wanted to go, I couldn’t get him a seat just anywhere - he’d have to sit near me. If there’s no seats near me I would have no choice but to decline and wait for another opportunity.

Oh yeah I did say offer too, didn’t I. Lol Sorry!

I know. It’s really shit. Our away tops will be skins this season from what I understand. The home top a mix of retro tops. What a mess this club is. Utter shit
