We really are the kiss of death to many of our shirt sponsors. How many of them are still around? Muller, FXPro, 32Red? Are W88 still a company in their own right? Even Acorns had financial issues after they were on Villa shirts.
I liked the Acorns arrangement

It was a great gesture but commercially extremely naive.

Still going strong but no longer has any business links with the UK which is why they neglected to extend their sponsorship deal. According to Wikipedia. Not sure whether that counts another example of the Villa sponsor jinx or not.

What happened to the cows of DWS?

If memory serves then DWS were acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management who recently spent a fortune on rebranding the company name after acquiring Standard Life, the result being the inspired ABRDN- I’ll have  a vowel please Carol

I thought Muller had gone the same way as the others. My mistake.

Go stand in the corner.

Claret and blue trim, V or Round neck and this would be the perfect away top

Wasn't their CEO at the time we were sponsored by them a bit fascist or something?  I remember reading something in my German Language night school course about him to that effect.  They lost my business after that revelation and I quite liked their Yogurts with the corner of fruit puree.

I do like the embroided stand alone lion as a badge.  I think it looks very classy the way Liverpool and Spurs have done that.

Not for me. I want "ASTON VILLA" written on the shirts, again. It's the most beautiful name in world football, why would you not show it off?
