I've never really like "Prepared". Would rather we had a fancy Latin motto like "In vino veritas" or "Biggus Dickus".

Or we could go ironic and go with 'ficklus maximus'.

Re the star....I thought something was said at the time of the Lerner design about the rules concerning it.

IIRC, UEFA / Premier League / somebody don't allow them to be displayed unless the team's actually playing in the European cup competition - so Liverpool, Barcelona etc can and do have them on those kits but not in league game games.

The way around it is to incorporate the star into the badge itself, which is what we did.

I may have made this up.

I like the new kit anyway. Maybe a shade darker blue.

Barca don't have stars on their kits in Europe.

It's the PL that have the rule regarding stars. They need to be inside the crest which is why we ended up with our shit star.

Forest will probably be made to change theirs next season.

1884-85 is my favourite.

Get it in claret and blue... sorted.

Surely the time to change it is 2024, our 150th anniversary.

I cannot for the life of me understand any opposition to reverting to this crest. It is a masterpiece of simple design and superior to almost every other 9crest in football.

110% Agreed

We only had that crest for 20 years, yet it represented (arguably) the most successful period of our history. Whatever we do, it needs the words Aston Villa in it.

No, mate, just found it on the net.
I like it, too, but I’d prefer a gold lion as opposed to a yellow one.

I think our home kits look much better when the blue goes up the shoulders rather than just being blue sleeves. Makes us look like Lego men otherwise.

I know which list you're going on. Hate the light blue on the shoulders but it just shows it's impossible to please everyone.

Yes, I only come once a year etc. :)

Not really, I was referring to CDBF's inverted lists of kit "shame".
