Castore now confirmed by the club. Kits to be revealed prior to the Australian tour "giving supporters the chance to see the kit in action ahead of the new season".
No mention of being able to actually buy it though.

Nice to see we are upholding the club tradition of never having our new T-shirts on sale during the warmest months of the year.

I can't remember if there was any fuss about it at the time, don't think fans were as militant then?  I'd always want us to go back to claret body and blue sleeves, but I like the occaisional different kit.  It also helps me to put memries into context - that one is always the Merse / Taylor / Ehiogu kit for me.  A great season we hardly lost a game from Dec-May.  Marred by the awful cup final though.  I'd love us to have a 57 homage, but guess that would be more likely to be an away kit.

Do Reebok still do kits? I would love to see us bring back Reebok.

I always thought my preference was umbro but looking at the lists I made Reebok are hands down the best we have ever had. That 95-97 kit is, for me, The Aston Villa kit.

The problem there is we have had so many novelty kits. Once a decade is fine but off the top of my head we had 93-95, 99-00, 01-02 in that era and pretty much the entire second half of the 1980s!

They don't seem to sponsor teams any more.

The 80 umbro shirts will always be my favourite, but the first year I bought a season ticket we had this Hummel kit. Absolutely loved it. The gold logo just looked great with the badge, and of course we had God.

"Multi year deal" but doesn't say until when. If we keep the same sponsor, maybe we could release kits on time for summer one season. I can dream...
