The green one looks like a cheap plastic shopping bag.

I’ve never heard of Castore. I’d never heard of Henson either, and wish I still hadn’t.

The entire design process, for all 5 shirts, must have taken the crack Castore designers most of the afternoon.

Let’s hope they are paying us a fortune & we improve sufficiently to get a big boy supplier next.

Not if they're going to treat us as shabbily as the last time we had "a big boy supplier", thanks.

I like those kits, especially the home. Nice, simple, classic villa kit.

I haven't liked the kits over the years that add in bells and whistles- the nike chequered squares, the awful Diadora pink effort, some of the mid-late 80s efforts just aren't villa kits for me, not a huge fan of the striped  home ones. I only like the 1994 kit because we won something in it and I only like the Luke kit because we got promoted in it (I didn't like it at first as it was our third year in Division 2 and seemed like a throwback to the aforementioned terrible 80s kits).

Edit, I do miss the days of having a kit for two seasons- 1995-97 being the last kit we had for two seasons in a row.

Interesting you see a green one. I see blue, black/yellow, claret and blue then the two goalie kits, orange and yellow. Have we our own "what colour is the dress?" kit?

I'd like to see an Adidas or Puma design. Castore? Never heard of them.

This looks like the result of your nan's kitchen smock having sex with a drayman's apron.

I’ve never heard of Castore. I’d never heard of Henson either, and wish I still hadn’t.

In fairness, he did a good job with the Muppets, and we played like them when we wore it.

I'd be happy if they wore the same shirt for 10 years, as long as it's a claret body with blue arms and the socks are blue. Any changes in the sock colour almost always means a season of struggle ahead.

Not a fan of the sky blue away top though, it's a bit too West Hammy

If that is the home shirt , it gets my vote.

Now I've got the theme tune going round in my head. Bastard.

Looks like the type of gear you would find in Matalan - cheap, nasty and not at all classy - the Castore badge looks naff

The home shirt does at least look like a Villa shirt, but as Clive says it does look a bit cheap and nasty. Not much thought seems to have gone into it, but then the whole Castore setup seems a bit suspect to me.

Agree with this.

Having said that, it's just a snapshot in poor lighting rather than a marketing shot showing it off at it's best.
