You've missed out Barry White, the only one off that list worth going to see.

I might have made the effort for Springsteen or Duran Duran but I'm not a big fan.

I went to the Barry White/Love Unlimited gig and met Madeline Bell there
If i recall right -  it rained and the stage was set up on the Witton Lane terraces
I was almost thrown out as I attempted to meet up with Barry in person (on stage) :)
the Barry White concert was pretty much washed out. I had tickets and decided not to go.

Never seen or will ever see again so many Wolves fans at Villa Park. Shocking scenes. Worst than Glasgow Rangers (RIP).

Got me thinking I don’t think I’ve ever been thrown out of the thousands of gigs I’ve been to.
I organised a couple of really amazing performances at the national mental health hospital here in Uganda.

includes a link to the song that captivated me/got me into the musician. The first set was outdoors (it’s damn hot here!) and of course loads of I presume student nurses gravitated at the back and were chit chatting away during breathtaking acoustic music that moved me to tears, well that and seeing some poor folk come alive and engage.
I did the challenging them thing after I ran out of dirty looks, then gave up and tried to focus on the positive.  I guess I couldn’t really throw them out of their own hospital.

The audience at the Bruce Springsteen concert at VP, 1989.

It was 1988. June 21st and 22nd.

I went to the second night with Damo and even went to have a look at the stage being built in the days before hand, wandering around the ground with no one taking any notice.

Famously, the weather conditions meant that the bass notes could be heard all over Brum, I could hear the first night in my back garden in The Peoples Republic of Sheldon.

Nev is the new Doctor Who.

I wonder if he can confirm whether we'll have won the FA Cup again by then.

so cazoo are going to carry on sponsoring villa next season. the previous deal was 2 years and due to expire at the end of this season.

interestingly they are not going to continue sponsoring everton, and have signed deals to sponsor valencia and real sociedad next season.

Pre-season trip to either of those sounds good to me.

Good news, it's not a gambling firm and the logo is one of the less intrusive around.
