Not Villa 3rd kit related but I always wondered why Rangers wore light blue shirts. I'd have thought Royal Blue would have been a more natural choice.

Looks pretty royal to me

That's true I suppose but they were known as 'The Light Blues'. Mind you they were also known as 'The Teddy Bears' but they weren't exactly cute and wholesome.
Why are they known as "Huns" ?

Don't think anyone knows for sure. https://www.irishpost.com/news/what-does-the-word-hun-mean-and-what-is-its-place-in-todays-society-91001

Teddy Bears is Glaswegian rhyming slang for 'Gers'. It honestly does work in the Glasgow accent!

As an aside, Scottish rhyming slang pisses all over its cockney cousin.

No need for a rhyme for something as prosaic as stairs. It would sound the same as bears and Gers though.

I haven't received my away top yet never mind the third strip.

Same.. paid silly money to have to shipped and this is the second delay - 8/20, then 8/27 now 9/6.

Further delayed until 9/13.. this is ridiciulous. Iron some numbers on the shirt and put it in the mail.

I saw that I ordered a training top from there that was nearly ten quid cheaper than the club shop.

My mrs ordered me training top on kitbag for my birthday In early August- it turned up about two weeks ago. She ordered it mid-July. I ordered the away shirt through the Villa website and it arrived in about 2 weeks. I didn’t know until she told me recently, but she also ordered something from Kitbag for my birthday last year and it didn’t arrive at all.
