If we were ever going to nick the Inter kit, it should have been the Bergkamp era one from Umbro, not the absolute mess that Nike have made of it this season.

Of course.

Anyway, I'll let you know the verdict of a 6 year old later. I'm nonplussed by it but it's a third kit and not one we'll be identified by. We'll wear it a couple of times against the likes of West Ham and ManCity.

It's grown on me. It isn't a very Blosey blue for those who worry about that sort of thing. Think it will be regarded as a bit of a classic in years to come. I'm very happy with all the kits this year, and we haven't had to endorse illegal Israeli settlements or murdering animals for "sport" along the way. Well done all.

Maybe I just don't mind it as it is a bit Scotlandy.

I don't mind it either but I'm a fan of when kit designs go bat-shit. Outside of the home kit I don't care if Timmy Mallet is the designer as I find most kits boring and samey.

WTF is that monstrosity?

Agreed, that's horrible.
To think someone got paid to design that. And then someone at the club said yes to it.
Awful.  Nothing Villa about it in any way.

I didn't like last year's 3rd kit for a similar reason. ;)

Just disappointed it wasn't the black one we discussed as I would have bought that one.

The rags play in Royal Blue. This isn't Royal Blue. What it is though is absolutely fucking horrible.

The picture on here makes it look worse than it does elsewhere. Looks nicer here, for instance...

If Mings has it on his back and is waving a trophy 'round like a trophy it might grow on me.

I had the 95 away shirt, I liked it but then we won lots of games in it. I don't see the point of a third but it's obviously commercial reasons. It's better than the one we had in the championship promotion year.
