It's an OK shirt.  What I find annoying with alot of kit manufacturers. Why does the pattern not continue on the back. Having the claret pin stripes down the back, would make it look so much better.

Conflicts with the numbers probably. That or you put the number in a square which spoils the look.

Agree, I actually prefer the plain white back.

Personally I like the various old school 100% cotton replica retro shirts: they're a bit cheaper, and look and feel much nicer on. They might take longer to dry, but you can't have everything!

From the OS:

Aston Villa would like to offer the opportunity of a shirt exchange to those supporters who purchased this season’s shirt printed with Jack Grealish’s name and number on the back.

The exchange offer only applies to 2021/22 home and away jerseys purchased between 14 July 2021 and 5 August 2021 and only for purchases made in the official club store at Villa Park or online at shop.avfc.co.uk.

A proof of purchase will be required and a like-for-like exchange will only be offered in exchange for a surrendered jersey.

Ideally, supporters are requested to return the items in-store but to arrange an alternative return method or for any other queries, please contact the customer services team on +44 (0) 330 053 6010 or by emailing customer.services@shop.avfc.co.uk.

Our Customer Services team provides support between 9.30am to 5pm, 7 days a week (UK local time).

The refund offer closes on 31 August.

The club would also like to advise supporters of the following new squad numbers for 2021/22:

1 - Emi Martínez

3 - Matt Targett

8 – Morgan Sanson

10 – Emiliano Buendía

18 – Ashley Young

20 – Danny Ings

Or from a marketing point of view - maybe it is just very popular - things do run out when they are eagerly sought after and as shirts have a limited shelf life of a season, judging how may to pre order must be very difficult

This is where we fall short yet again, a failure to stock the shirts for the opening Home Match along with many people feeling frustrated with the Ticket Office.

I bet Man Utd don't have stock issues. We need vast improvements,  all over

I guess all we have going for us is four useable stands.
