It looks nice but I'd rather we saved European Cup replicas for a big anniversary... such as the club's 150th coming up. 40th anniversaries aren't really worth celebrating and, in any case, are a reminder of our general underperformance since.

Yeah, reminds me of a chipper I saw in Rhos-on-Sea in North Wales which had a big banner saying "Celebrating the 25th anniversary of winning the best chip shop in Conwy award", or words to that effect.  Seemed to be an odd thing to celebrate ... not doing anything notable for 24 years in what's a fairly small geographic area.

The 150th 'birthday' seems a more appropriate thing to celebrate.

While I dislike their brutal football, Burnley tend to have the best "Villa" shirts in the last few years.
