I agree. 150th anniversary - 1981 home remake, plus 3 change kits (one for every 50 years) - 1982 away remake, 1957 away remake, and a remake of one of the early kits - maybe the plain black one with a giant red lion in the middle.

Dear Mr. Purslow,

Please hire algy as the club's kit consultant as soon as is convenient.

Yours, BV

Seconded

Just seen the leaked Arsenal shirt. If only we had adidas. That would look lovely in claret and blue.

That's gotta be the most boring shirt I've ever seen.
Wait till you see Liverpool's Nike effort

Nice to see Arsenal pay homage to the 40th anniversary of our European Cup success by using our home kit from that season as a template.

For the 150th anniversary away kit, we should have all black, with a big lion on it

And where would the sponsor go? That kit worked in 1878, not so much now. Now a black retro range or training kits with a big red lion? Count me in. The 57 home and away is always something I liked.

I'm sure we could forego a sponsor on the third (or fourth) kit if need be. A decent home and away kit would probably sell more than usual given it'd be the anniversary.

If we went 81, 82 and 57 as 3 of them surely 96 is the only sensible option for the 4th kit so we're celebrating our last win in each of the major trophies in our cabinet.

Are late middle aged men the key targeted demographic for replica kit sales these days? You lot are on to a winner if they are.

Do you mind, it's early middle aged although I was a bit perturbed to find out recently I'm now eligible for AARP membership. :(

The brats will wear any old shit, no point in caring what they think, they'll be nagging the parents to buy it anyway.

The club need to be focusing on engaging with Middle Aged Messageboard Mafia to boost sales.

Except for those maniacs that like the crazy Hearts top or the numerous stripey monstrosities we've had over the last few decades, obviously. They should be ignored. Possibly killed, too, at the risk of being too harsh.

You fucking Mensheviks are always too wishy-washy. It's why you never get anywhere. "At the risk of being too harsh." FFS, man.

You'll be dancing with five at the back at the politburo disco next, you sap.
