I noticed that the 1997/98 "Collymore" away shirt has been added to the retro range. I coveted that shirt at the time but had to make do with the home jersey that year. It's a pity Villa can't use the manufacturer's logo on most of the retro shirts (Reebok in this case, Hummel for the 87/88 ones). Not that I'm overly keen on being a walking advertisement, but it just looks like something is missing and also a bit incongruous when the main sponsor is there across the chest.

They just don't look quite right. Tho tbh through the years I've worn less and less official club merchandise, now its just down to a thin claret & blue scarf with "Aston Villa, Coca Cola Cup Final 1994" on. Pride and joy, that is.
We could. But given that we like money, it's unlikely.
Could we keep the same kit?
I was thinking that most clubs may be waiting for England to crash out of the Euros before they put the new strips on sale. If they go out now, they’re competing (mostly) with England merch and it might not be the best time for them to go on sale. Fresh and exciting once England’s euro campaign is done and dusted. Just a theory.
