You never seem to see the 89/90 one anywhere. There are retro versions of 87/89, originals on sale online, remakes...surprising considering how good we were in 89/90.

I made these lightning bolt kits. The lion is embossed into a pattern on the shirts and shorts and the gas lamp outside the Holte is on the back of the neck.

If I'm not allowed to post these let me know and I'll stop.

That’s a horrible shirt!

The away shirt should be based upon the 1982 away shirt to mark the 40th anniversary.

I like it.

I wouldn't bother with a 40th anniversary shirt. We can go for nostalgia fest with the 2023/24 shirts for the 150 years anniversary. Recreation of the double-winning kit for the home shirt, 1982 Final kit for the away shirt, 57 Final kit third choice.

It’s got to be Umbro and make them all wear long sleeves cowans/ Morley style

I always bought a long sleeve shirt whenever I could.. we haven't had the opportunity in years.

By 2023/24, we won't need nostalgia.

How can you do the Denis Law thing of playing while holding the cuffs, which automatically instilled you with 110% cool factor if you wore a short sleeve strip?.

Until they saw me play.

I was responsible for creating my works B team, and made myself manager so I could pick me every time. We lost every game we played but I got to wear claret and blue (and held onto the shirt cuffs like Denis Law). There are no sufficiently excremental words to describe my football talents, but I looked so, so cool.

Hummel kits of the 80's were, with a few years hindsight, appreciably retro. Hummel kits of the 2000s were terrible.

Yep. 80s one great. Even the “template” one we had first. The second one was a thing of beauty. Especially the white and black away one.

Made these classic Hummel remakes and also made a third kit in black using the same template  8)
