£48 for a polyester ,oh and elastane, top is a fucking joke.

You're right.

But £20 for a polyester top seems too much to me, so I'm not the target market.

The club will argue that circa £100 for a replica kit and the increase in ticket prices goes towards making us competitive in this league, and Martinez in goal + Coutinho in midfield is a bit better than the days of Nyland and Whelan.

And as galling as kit prices are, there really is no argument when put like that.

Ok I admit,I've been priced out. Same as season tickets. Sidelined by the away ticket "scheme" previously. Be careful Villa, you may need me back one day.Let's hope you're not going down the elitist knob club route.

They are and it'll only get worse with Purslow at the club.

There is an argument - don't charge ridiculous prices and you might get more customers.

The cost of kits etc isn’t specific to our club.
Not a fan of the huge price rise for some in season tickets, but I’m not a fan of the way money has taken over football in the whole.
To read someone’s been priced out of watching our club is sad and a sad indictment on what football has become.
This isn’t a slight on our owners who I still believe are fantastic and who are growing our club using investment in the youth system. I’d much rather see a young lad we’ve developed play than a
£100m player. That’s just my personal view.

I can't afford hardly anything to do with Aston Villa at the moment.

I pay my $11 a month during the season for every single Premier League game and that'll do me.

as a season ticket holder for over 20 years I just can't justify it any more.

For the first time, I’m starting to reconsider going home and away week in, week out. Everyone has their spend threshold, and the increases this year are edging me closer to mine.

I think it's time to stamp out the shaming of those who can't attend all games as well.

The I'm at every home and away games crew who look down on those who pick and choose or can't go at all for whatever reason.

If there genuinely is 26,000 on the waiting list then a percentage of those will be able to afford to take up the remaining seats per match ( if genuine ) but it's going to be very interesting times after the dramatic increase to those in zone 6 + the rise elsewhere. I for one will be cutting out the Half time pint and food.

Cheaper and better value at a pub in city centre for something substantial without standing In a ridiculous queue like an idiot
