Somebody should remind El Ghazi he's a bloody attacking player. Mings brings the ball forward only for El Ghazi to play the easiest ball back to our defence. What is the bloody point?

I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.

We wouldn't.

Why? Because we have accepted our place as subservient or mediocre infinitum? I bet a top side with a more ambitious board would have canned him already.

Because he's hit all his targets.

You’re making my point beautifully. Thanks. Promotion because we became a Championship side. Stay up by the skin of our bollocks on the last day. Finish lower mid table in complete free fall since Christmas. If those are the targets we’ve dropped our standards and expectations as a club and fan base.
They're realistic targets which we're going to hit. Yes, it's shite football at times but look at the last few years, it makes perfect sense to me to build steadily instead of lunging from one catastrophe to another. I mean, life under Tim Sherwood was exciting but...

I think people are just worried Grealish will move on sooner or later and we will be back to square one based on last two months.

He commits for one more season, we really need to have a real go in the summer even if some of them are more short term moves.

Lucky there. Struggled against their set pieces all game.

Their right back has blocked pretty much every cross from Targett tonight, really good performance from whoever it is.
