If you are going to change the manager then now would be a good time.   Time to rebuild before next season.

We've upped the tempo now. This is more like it.

Douglas Luiz is a nothing player. Adds nothing to the attack or the defence.

Sorry, but utter bollocks. He’s an out of form player, there’s a difference.

I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.

We wouldn't.

Why? Because we have accepted our place as subservient or mediocre infinitum? I bet a top side with a more ambitious board would have canned him already.

Because he's hit all his targets.

You’re making my point beautifully. Thanks. Promotion because we became a Championship side. Stay up by the skin of our bollocks on the last day. Finish lower mid table in complete free fall since Christmas. If those are the targets we’ve dropped our standards and expectations as a club and fan base.

Accusing this board of lack of ambition is a bit harsh considering the money they've put in to date.

I am really struggling with this thread. I thought supporters meant you supported your team no matter what they are playing like. Just get behind your team you bastards

It’s better but it should never have dropped so low to begin with. Anything looks better than that.

So people happy with this? And the form since the new year?
I doubt a single Villa fan on here is happy about our form

I really wish I wasn’t fucked off and exchanging messages with Sexual Ealing but genuinely think It’s time dean was fucked off after season ends as he isn’t good enough to get a tune out of these. Five games at start of next season max, we can’t fuck about anymore.

Nah, replace him at the end of the season. Give the new bloke the transfer window to bring his own targets in.
Thank god you’re not making the decisions

Agree apart from calling us bastards. Let’s see this one out and hopefully get something out of it for some belief

I’d be surprised if his targets were “play like drains and deliver relegation form for half a season.”

It’s like we’re playing 10 men again, all the possession and none of the penetration.
